This is appalling. Watch this video.

I cried after watching that.
It's absolutely appalling and is absolutely horrible.

I cannot comprehend why these people so cruel.

Today was the day I finally mustered the courage to open my mouth( or rather get my thumbs) to SMS my tutor my results.
I see a serious coronary ahead.
I can just see her eyeballs popping out of their sockets, choking on her own spit or something.....

Ah good heavens, why? Why have my grades dipped into such unfathomable depths of destituition?

No matter, today was the first day of the Junior Broadcaster's Workshop at Mediacorp.
Will elaborate more if I feel like it for now I'm far to bored and lazy to do.

( Lackadaisical, that's me.)

Au contraire, I'm usually hardworking.
The situation just warrants some slacking and relaxation before the new term looms.

Time is really passing at a dizzying speed.

Something has gotten me so hyped up, I just have to blog about it!

What better thing to hype me up than........

SYNAPSE '08! CRANK UP THE ANTE :D

It started off at 7.30am in the morning....
....with four people: Grace, Nicholas,Amanda and Myself.
Then this guy came......and I didn't even recognize him.
I took a double take to realize that it was David from last year.
Then that was it.
FIVE PEOPLE IN OUR GROUP!
Just five. Ironically, we're group no. 5.
(Thankfully Ryan came later on to add to the strength of the group)

First we had praise and worship which was pretty awesome.
Next was errrr...what's that?
OH yesh! Group ice breakers! ^_^
We had to have committee members join our group for it was far too small.
So Serena, Charlene, Wei Sheng and Andrew joined us so that our group would have more people to interact with one another.
So the ice breaker was Whacko and some M&M introduce yourself game.
Pretty fun but I was still in a stupor.
So sleepy.
No breakfast.

Thankfully, before the painting of the flag, the committee saved me from gastric by providing us with cold cut sandwiches.
I got some Mystery Meat though. Was too hungry and dazed to discern whether it was tuna or chicken though.
Being the annoying, spoilt and fussy little primadonna I am, I hankered after an egg mayo sandwich! ( yes, yes, I know, my inexplicable penchant for eggs!!!)
We went back into the hall for a mass ice breaker.
Then we had errr....station games if my memory serves me well.

The station games were pure, unadulterated fun torture.
The first station was National Treasure.
We had to hunt around for materials to build a tiki torch.

Next was the TP Shuffle.
Which I hated.
I always have problems shuffling around on the chairs.
Nevermind, I was not alone.

After which we went for some marshmallow game at the red brick area which was pretty simple.
Just be tied to two people and eat as many marshmallows as possible.
We did pretty well with 15 marshmallows (:

Next was the amphitheatre Circle Star game which drove us all delirious for it took an age to try and get everything in order.
It was thoroughly exasperating and drove us to the brink of delirium!

I can't remember the exact order but no matter....

The next game was awful. We were supposed to down a revolting concoction of:
-Milo cereal
-Sprite/711/Ice Cream Soda
-A handful of salt
-A hackled banana

I became the martyr and downed majority of this majorly disgusting dish.

The game at the track was so emabrassing.
I was too short to play with Amanda Chin so I had to pair up with David instead( who happend to be what, 20cm taller than me?) to play.
Gah. Need to grow taller alright!!

There was a game outside the Chinese classrooms.
Making the longest line of things/people in 3 minutes.
We fared pretty decently.

We visited Ethel's station which was ( I would it call it) Hide Under Your Umbrella-Ella-Ella
It involved playing scissors, paper, stone and the loser would have to cower under an umbrella fast enough or get dowsed by water thrown at you.
Ethel was so dead.
Since I took the 2 cups of water as penalty, the guy threw it at me upfront while SOMEBODY *coughETHELcough* snuck up from behind and poured it down my shirt.
THIS MEANS WAR!
With a holler of rage, I dumped an entire bucket of water over her.

Oops (:

The final game was sadistic to the max.
Twister is a difficult enough a game, especially for people like me who are not human rubberbands.
But wow.
What better way to torture a group of unsuspecting prefects than to make them play twister in the middle of a semi wet muddy field, on a Twister mat spattered with large amounts of Milk Cream Shower that has turned a dirt-latte colour because it mingled with the mud.
Wonderful.

I'm not going into the nitty gritty embarrassing details.

The next segment was lunch then discussion which was fairly uneventful.
Then there was teabreak ( They're fattening us up for The Kill)

Then there was The Mass Game which was a loud, rowdy, testosterone driven affair that involved shrieking girls hurtling across the concrete field with water bombs in hand, boys hollering at decibels that reached unfathomable decibels and of course, flags.
We had to steal each others flags.
It was total chaos and pandemonium.
I got so many minor blisters and calluses from walking on the scorching hot concrete ground.
It's fine compared to what some people got.

Some poor girl mildly dislocated her finger.
David and Andrew got blisters from running too fast on a red hot, designed to produce friction for runners track.
Then it was over, clean up time!

Clean Up time was ambrosia for the senses.
I FINALLY GOT TO CHANGE!!!
HALLELUJAH!!!

It was dinner time then the campfire!
It was fun with everyone dancing the Mass Dance, singing songs, watching dances and skits, watching a fashion show and playing games.
It was awesome.

But all good things have to come to an end.
So it ended off with me asking for people's contacts and saying goodbye.

That's all for Survivor Synapse 2008. ( My group was called Borneo)

I know what many of you will ask me.
My answer is yes, alot. <3

God Bless and toodle-oo!

Dear Goodness.

Mediocrity.
No, intellectual poverty.
Destitute.

That's all I can say.

It's been getting increasingly difficult to hold my calm when dealing with the supercilios nowadays....

The investiture today was pretty decent, I guess.

I'm so tired now that I don't even have the impetus to write.

Off to slack.

Cheerio-o!

God Bless<33

The past week or so has been....oh dear goodness.
The tests were so gruelling and being naturally a control freak by demeanour, I put immense amounts of strain on my brain cells, a stress that culminated and let all hell break loose on the day of my A Math test, resulting in my appallingly cataclysmic performance.
No matter, all eyes on God to makes things work!!! (:

I'm so tired now.
The practice for the prefect's installation was sooooooooooooooooooo long and tiresome.
Four hours long!! Oh dear mama goose!

I passed E Math! Much to my relief.

Sweeney Todd is a freaking awesome show.
I love the soundtrack!

Anyway, I have so much to blog about but I'm too tired to recall anything! :X
So till another time where my brain cells have decided to kick out of their lackadaisical stupor.

Adieu, readers!
God Bless you! <33>
